AKODE is a graphic design studio specializing in branding, packaging, and strategic visual storytelling.

Founder and Creative Director Ara spent her formative years in Korea and China before moving to the United States, where she studied Communication Design at Parsons School of Design.

After beginning her career at a New York–based design studio, she returned to Korea, where she held art director roles at Shinsegae Group—including Shinsegae Department Store and Emart—and Kolon FnC, ultimately serving as Senior Art Director. Over 15 years across both countries, she has specialized in branding and art direction for the fashion, beauty, food, and retail industries, categories that demand refined aesthetics and compelling storytelling. Drawing on this experience, she founded AKODE.
